Pedagogical Skills Courses

The offering of courses is based on the Framework for Effective Teaching at Charles University. The Framework identifies key pedagogical skills and knowledge, dividing them into six competence areas. These areas include lesson planning and preparation, managing the teaching and learning process, supporting teaching and learning with digital technologies, providing feedback and assessment, professional collaboration, reflective teaching and teacher professional development. Each area contains specific competencies that help academic staff at Charles University achieve effective teaching. The Framework serves as a guide for the continuous improvement of teaching practice and supports the lifelong learning of teachers.
