Ing. Karolina Duschinská, Ph.D. (1964)
Specialises in general didactics, andragogy and professional development of teaching staff. Graduated from the Faculty of Chemical Engineering of the University of Chemistry and Technology and from the Charles University Faculty of Education. She now works as an assistant professor at both these institutions and, besides teaching and researching general didactics, also mentors beginning teachers. She conducts a didactic skills course for doctoral students and university teachers.
Mgr. Radka High, Ph.D. (1986)
Specialises in pedagogical and school psychology, especially issues relating to learning motivation, teaching talented pupils and also the issue of time perspective. She graduated from the Faculty of Education of Charles University. She is currently working as an assistant professor at the Department of Psychology of the CU Faculty of Education and Department of Education of the University of Chemistry and Technology. She conducts communication skills courses for doctoral students and university teachers as well as for members of the business community.
Mgr. Pavla Sovová, Ph.D. (1963)
Specialises in personality and social development, teaching communication skills and vocal training. Graduated from the Department of Drama of the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory, Faculty of Education of Charles University and the Theatre Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts. She worked as a vocal training teacher at the Svatý Ján (Saint John’s) College and as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Education of the University of West Bohemia and at the Department of Social Sciences of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University. She is the current director of the Elementary Art School in Chrást near Pilsen and also teaches at the Czech Carl Orff Society.
PhDr. Michal Zvírotský, Ph.D. (1980)
Specialises especially in the pedagogical aspects of health and quality of life, in issues relating to health care literacy and education of pedagogical workers. He graduated from the Charles University Faculty of Education. He has worked as a teacher and methodologist of prevention of risk behaviour, in the non-for-profit sphere as a lecturer and expert supervisor of qualification courses for social workers. He is currently employed at the Department of Education of the CU Faculty of Education. He is a member of the CU Lifelong Learning Council.
