Pedagogical Skills Enhancement Programme

In the 2017/2018 academic year Charles University launched a programme of development of the teaching skills of its academic staff. The programme, which is currently running as a pilot, has been designed for CU staff and PhD students; it is expected to be opened at a later stage also for applicants from other higher education institutions.

Both new and experienced academic staff who wish to cultivate their skills in teaching and improve their knowledge of tertiary didactics and related disciplines can apply. Participation in the programme is free of charge.

The core of the programme comprises seminars and workshops complemented by self-study and utilisation of e-learning. The aim of the programme is to create a stable platform for the enhancement of the pedagogical competencies of university teachers and, last but not least, for sharing their didactic experience.

The programme runs under the auspices of the Charles University Lifelong Learning Council.

Supported by the Increasing Quality of Education at Charles University and Its Relevance for the Needs of the Labour Market project.
